Templar Knight Helm

The Knights Templar were a powerful crusader order of knights founded in the 11th century with many of them recruited from England and France. There are many Templar castles and churches throughout England, including the Temple Church in London, made famous in the Da Vinci Code. Our Helmet of the Knights Templar is a Great Helm from the 13th century when the order was at the height of its power. It is decorated with a large black cross pattée associated with the order along with a small aged brass cross in the center. Crafted from polished 18 gauge steel and comes complete with a padded cotton cap that can be glued on for convenience should you wish to wear it.
